Role OverviewWe are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Level 3 Childcare Apprentice to join our friendly team. This role is ideal for someone passionate about working with children and looking to develop their career in early years education while gaining a recognised Level 3 qualification.
You will support the delivery of engaging activities, ensure children’s safety and wellbeing, and contribute to a positive learning environment.
Key Responsibilities
Support the planning and delivery of age-appropriate activities in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework

Assist in creating a safe, secure, and inclusive environment for all children

Build positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues

Observe, monitor, and record children’s development and progress

Support children’s personal care routines (e.g. toileting, hygiene, mealtimes)

Promote safeguarding and follow all health and safety procedures

Work as part of a team to maintain high standards of care and education

Attend training sessions and complete coursework as part of the apprenticeship programme
Skills & Qualities Required
Genuine passion for working with children

Caring, patient, and enthusiastic attitude

Good communication and teamwork skills

Reliable and punctual

Willingness to learn and develop professionally

Basic IT skills for completing coursework and recording observations
 
Entry Requirements
GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths (Grade 4/C or above preferred)

Commitment to completing a Level 3 Early Years Educator Apprenticeship
