Healthcare assistant post on Pearce ward

An opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic and motivated individual to join our well established team.

You will be working on the Adult Cystic Fibrosis Unit here at Wythenshawe hospital

As a Nursing Assistant you will be a key member of our nursing team providing support with our registered nurses to patients and families.

You will be able to work on own initiative, following direction by Registered Nurse.

You will need to have:

Excellent communication skills – in particular listening skills

A friendly, open, empathetic and compassionate communication style

A strong ability to engage with patients, visitors and colleagues

The ability to work well in a team

In return we will provide a comprehensive induction programme and you will be appraised on a yearly basis with a view to developing knowledge and skills where appropriate.
