This organisation was a start up, founded by two super experienced and passionate Fundraisers who decided to go it alone! They see themselves as activists, and believe in using business as a force for good, putting purpose before profit.
The Founders haven't looked back, winning some big clients and expanding into recruitment, training and technology services.
Now, they are looking to provide four paid internship opportunities, to teach you the tools of the trade!
Eligibility:
This opportunity is available for people age 18-30 who are current or past Centrepoint residents, or those who are experiencing or at risk of homelessness

Job Title: Intern
Hours: 6 weeks paid internship, 4 days per week, 6 hours per day 10-5pm (with 1 hour lunch break).
Pay: Real Living Wage 13.85 per hour. If you complete the 6 weeks internship, you can expect almost £2,000 in pay.
Location: Canary Wharf, London and travel to other areas in London.
Start date: Intern opportunities will start in April - September 2025

About the role
You will experience what it is like to work in an established start-up, Founder operated business with a focus on delivering Social Value.
During this paid internship, you will spend three days per week fundraising and one day per week in the office.
You will be matched with an experienced charity fundraiser in the door-to-door operation to evangelise and promote the charity you are representing and seek donations.
You will be matched with experienced fundraisers to learn the tips and tools of the trade, how to speak to people, how to engage people and build relationship and rapport.
You will also partner up with another Intern, as this organisation understand the power of comararderie!
In this role, you will learn how steer and direct conversations and leave all interactions on a positive footing, all while making a difference and fundraising for some very worthy causes.
The Training
This fundraising agency is known for its excellent bespoke training modules, it even sells it's training programmes to other fundraising agencies!
Training will be delivered on the job, in person classrooms and online.

The Hours
4 days per week, 6 hours per day 10 - 5 pm (with a lunchbreak)
2 days in the door-to-door fundraising organisation
1 day in the head office, working with head office staff, gaining exposure to business management, marketing, sales, client relationship management and more!
The Pay
You will be paid the real living wage, which is £13.85 per hour
This role is not commission based, you will receive £13.85 per hour no matter your results, however, if you do over-perform on the target set, you can receive commission on the top of the £13.85 per hour.
Plus a daily subsistence budget to buy lunch.
If you are a Centrepoint resident, Centrepoint can provide a bursary for your travel to and from work.
So, if you complete this 6 week internship, you can expect to receive almost £2,000!
